My first solo trip overseas was to Los Angeles for WrestleMania 39 at
SoFi Stadium, and Washington DC the week before. I’d been to
WrestleMania with friends before, but this was my first time in a fancy
suite, and by myself. Although the suite had other people, no one really
spoke to each other outside their group. But there were other solo guys
there who I chatted with a bit, but not much.
The seats were super comfy, and there was plenty of food and drinks, but the tickets for the 2 nights weren’t cheap ($1,408.59 USD), but I think totally worth it, for me anyway and I had an unforgettable time, more so than I thought I would. My ticket had a front-row seat in the suite, which was awesome! Some tickets that were sold didn’t even have seats, so you had to stand for almost 4 hours for each of the 2 nights.
I know this might sound a bit strange, but the best part about being in a suite at a stadium event is the restroom. It’s a private space for a small group of people, so it’s always clean and spotless. It’s like having my own personal OCD-friendly restroom!
Living in Australia, we don’t have many big events that go all out with lighting and sets, so I always get excited to see them in person, and WrestleMania 39 didn't disappoint.
I absolutely adore these events because they offer a behind-the-scenes look at the world that’s not shown on TV. It’s always fascinating, even though I’m supposed to be there for the show. But hey, everyone’s different!
I stayed until the staff asked me to leave the suite and watched the crew begin to pack everything up. I got to see a lot more of the parts that interest me, the production.
